Trade Marshall for Witten in a DYNASTY Pool?

Good day folks.

I'm in a 14 team Dynasty league with the following scoring format.

Pass: 1 point per 25 yards, 4 points per TD
Rush/Receive: 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per TD

The starting roster is QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, WR/RB, TE, K, DEF

My current roster is:

QB: Peyton Manning, Jay Cutler, Vince Young
WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Greg Jennings, Marques Colston, Brandon Marshall, Sam Hurd
RB: Brandon Jacobs, Steven Jackson, Chester Taylor, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw, Donald Brown
TE: John Carlson
K: Flavour of the week
DEF: Baltimore

I've been offered the following: Jason Witten and Jerricho Cotchery for Brandon Marshall and Vince Young.

Should I accept? I know Witten is a top option at TE, but is it worth giving up my WR depth?

Dynasty league and Denver has turned it around really quickly.

Dallas is doing horrible.

I'd trade Marshall for a better TE and a better WR than that for sure!

I would NOT do that trade. You pretty much only have 2 RB's worthy of starting each week so that means you MUST start 4 WR's (your flex pos will be your 4th WR) each week and I certainly wouldn't downgrade from Marshall to Cotchery. Witten is damned good but I personally think that Marshall alone will get you more points than Witten + JC combined. Carlson will be a fine TE in a 14 team league from a dynasty standpoint. He may not be a league leader but he certainly won't be a dud either.
