IDP Rule Set

I'm looking to convert my fantasy football league in to an IDP league. We currently start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR with the following rule set:

Passing Touchdown = 4 pts
50 passing yards = 1 pt
Interception = -2 pts
Rushing Touchdown = 6 pts
20 rushing yards = 1 pt
Receiving Touchdown = 6 pts
20 yards receiving = 1 pts
Reception = .5 pts
Return Touchdown = 6 pts
50 return yards = 1 pt
Fumble = -2 pts

I'm looking for ideas on two different rule sets. One rule set where IDP is a nice addition but doesn't equal offensive production and another rule set where Defensive players can score on par with offense (i.e. Democo Ryans could be just as valuable as Maurice Jones Drew). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Go to "stats". This allows you to look at the NFL stats of every position (including IDP's) for years 2000-2009. It also calculates the NFL stats into FF points per game. It automatically uses FFToday default scoring to calculate the FF points per game, but it also allows you to enter your (or any) scoring system to calculate the FF points per game. You need to register, which is free, but you'll be able to enter different IDP scoring systems & then see how many FF points per game each IDP position scored in the past seasons. I hope this helps.
