Trading Big Ben for a WR and trying to trade McGahee!

Postby Nortonfan » Tue Oct 13, 2009 2:43 pm

I have both Aaron Rodgers and Big Ben so I'm set with my QB but I'm badly hurting for a dependable WR. What kind of value can I get out of Big Ben? I was thinking of trying for Marques Colston, good or bad? A

I'm also trying to trade McGahee but I'm not sure who to ask for. Do you think Mcgahee for Cedric Benson is fair?

The guys team with Marques

QB Matt Ryan
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Marques Colston
WR Vincent Jackson
RB Matt Forte
RB Tim Hightower
TE Dustin Keller
K Adam Vintinari
DEF CIN
BNQB Mark Sanchez
BNWR Miles Austin
BNWR Nate Washinton
BNRB Marshawn Lynch
BNRB Beanie Wells
BN Jeremy Shockey

Here is my team

QB Aaron Rodgers
WR Steve Smith (the real one) CAR
WR Braylon Edwards
WR Mohamed Massaquoi
RB Michael Turner
RB Willis McGahee
TE Kellen Winslow
K John Carney
BNWR Jerricho Cotchery
BNWR Mark Clayton
BNWR Micheal Crabtree
BNRB Ronnie Brown
BNQB Big Ben
BNK Neil Rackers

I'm dropping Mark Clayton for Austin Collie and Neil Rackers for Mike Wallace but I'm not sure if I'll get them, I'm low on the WW list

I think that's a fair offer. To be honest, I think that Colston probably is a more valuable player, so the guy may turn it down. But its a fair offer, and it would be a great move for you.

Thanks for your opinion!! He is really the only guy that can afford to lose one of his WR in order to upgrade his QB so hopefully he goes for it. Any other opinions?

Yeah it's a fair trade. Im not sure I would give up Colston for Big Ben but then again looking at Ben's remaining schedule he does play Clev twice , KC, & Oak. Atlanta has a tough schedule excluding Tampa twice. Go for it & let the other owner know about Ben's easier schedule than Ryans & he may go for it. As far as McGahee, it may be hard to get much for him after getting only 15 touches total in his last 3 games. No way you could get Benson straight up for him.
