Sitting on two elite TEs

Postby TheDeepBomb » Tue Oct 13, 2009 3:43 pm

What would I expect out of a trade, all things equal for the sake of simplicity (a la other teams have average TE options like Marcedes Lewis or John Carlson)

I have both Jason Witten and Brent Celek

Celek has outscored Witten so far this year due to an explosive Eagles offense and a subpar Cowboys offense that has largely ignored Witten this year :-t

My current roster, 14 team PPR league:
QB: Garrard
RBs: MJD, McCoy, Mendenhall, Ray Rice, Ladell Betts
WRs: Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, Garcon, Sidney Rice
TEs: Witten, Celek

I know I should get a backup QB for match reasons and to cover Garrard's upcoming bye, but I'm wondering how much worth I can get out of either Celek or Witten, the more the better of course. At this point I'd rather trade away Witten since they are using him more as a blocker (which just amazes me) and for the 'big name' factor. For reference, here's what's on the WW in terms of QB:

Cassel
Campbell
Kolb
Stafford
Wallace
Leftwich
Henne
and it falls apart after that

Any ideas?
