Well, I'm bored at work, I'm 0-5 in a standard scoring, keeper league (with no prospect of improving), and I'm in the mood to fish for potential talent for next season. Up to three keeps, one per position, at a cost of draft position +2. This week I've got two options: Eli (who was prematurely dropped for injury reasons and would occupy an 8th round pick next season) or Miles Austin (who's been relatively unspecatular...until last week!). Eli is only a slight upgrade over my Palmer as a back-up, but I've always thought he was just a couple of good recivers (Smith, Manningham, and Nicks for kicks?) away from challenging the elite QB's. On the other hand, its hard to ignore the potential of a speedy, young receiver who can put up 250 and 2 scores and only costs a 15th round pick next season. And, since I'm in no danger of relinquishing my spot atop the waiver priority any time soon, I'm not too worried about missing out on anyone later on in the season. Not really an earth-shattering move on either part, but I'm curious to hear people's thoughts. As always, WHIR! Thanks in advance!
