So I am riding the NYG defense all year and I am 2-3 in my league, almost in a must win situation this week due to the 1st place guy running away with it.
I was offered the Packers D for the Giants and would turn it down 99% of the time but I need to win now and the Giants play New Orleans this week and the Packers play the Lions.
Trade the Giants to win now or stick it out and hope they rattle God, I mean Brees this week?

I would consider it unless you can pick up another 1 week bye DEF Jax or Car
Giant schedule looks tough next 4 weeks.

agreed, I would look at the waiver wire but I dont think you can give up the giants d for the packers for the rest of the year.
Help please.

Can you pick up another defense on waivers and let another player on your team go? That's what I'd recommend. You'll want to hang onto the Giants D. D/ST aren't that crucial in terms of points. I wouldn't make this trade.
Help with mine?

I agree with Water Boy- I always carry 2 D's so I can keep my stud D's for excellent matchups and good points, then pick up the D from the waiver wire with the easiest matchup when my stud D faces a team like New Orleans. You'll be lucky to score a point against Brees and his new running attack- in MY league you'd likely end up with NEGATIVE pts. Platooning D's will improve your overall scoring average by about 8 points, which separates the good FF teams from the champions.
