no brainer for me tbh. He on tilt with brees' 2 poor fantasy weeks and the bye. My vote pull the trigger.

Edit: To elaborate even more you have a breakout back ronnie brown and angelo, gore overated imo, brees went round 1 in most leagues.

Its a gamble. Could work out either way. If your gut tells you, do it.

hahaha i am torn exactly as the responses have been - 1 for 1 against and 1 neutral.

here are my thinking patterns, and please provide yours along with yes/no if you can.

brees is not on his way down, but NO is on its way to a more balanced offense. brees will stay a top QB but will not be so overwhelmingly so for the rest of the season like how he started this year.
mcnabb, if he can stay healthy, will probably hang with brees somewhat, given its pass happy offense. (Eagle's favorite RB play is the draw or the screen, not your old fashion RB carry)

gore had great stats before the injury. let's just say the injury will NOT be a concern, most of his yards came from the two long TDs against Seattle. Gore is talented but probably can't be counted on one of those per game. SF has mediocre O-line, so Gore will probably most likely go back to ~3ypc and will have to depend on 9ers to move the chain to get goal-line touches. bottom line, gore is not as good as his stats show.

i don't know about moreno, who is the X factor here. buckhallter was out this last game and he got 20 carries with respectable ypg. he doesn't really TD, so concern here. also, buckhalter most likely will come back after the bye in week 8 - back to timeshare?

I just got sammy morris on waiver so my rb situation is no longer as dire, but the trade COULD help me in an additional way as i have ronnie brown and gore on bye this week.

Please help, thanks!

Yeah tough call...Moreno has been productive but he isn't near a healthy Gore. You have 3 solid options at QB but Brees is better than all of them. If you think Gore returns in the next two weeks healthy and ready to go, then you should sit tight. If you are concerned about Gore's health and return from injury, pull the trigger and then try to move one of your other QBs for another RB.

Thanks for the help on mine.

i personally like the Brees/Moreno side of things. Gore scored almost as many TD's in the first 3 weeks as all of last season, meaning, his production is going to taper off greatly. could be wrong, but that's what i predict.

Mcnabb has burned me so many times it's not even funny. I know brees has been bad for 2 weeks, but he is still top 3 FF QB's. I'd go for it.

With buckhalter due back, I would not do this.
It's close though. Swapping a Gore for Moreno just does not make sense to me.
If you think McNabb will go down again, you could go fir it.
In your case the only qb upgrade worth it would be Peyton.
Mcnabb is good.

na... I say leave it... try and get another QB if you really want one for cheaper... I think you need Gore.
