Need a RB....Please Help!

Here's my situation:

14-Team League/Standard Scoring:


I have two RB's on bye this week and am trying to trade one of my recievers for an RB.


I have been offered:

My: D. Jackson

for

His: R. Medenhall


Another in my league (who doesn't have many recievers) has Slaton and Rice.


With that said, would Slaton for D. Jackson/S.Smith or Rice for D. Jackson/S.Smith make more sense moving forward.


Help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

Even Though Mendenhall has the most questions with the return of Parker.....I like him the best......I would go that way.....

Next Slaton, last would be Rice....

Who are your other recievers? Might not be worth sacrificing the rest of your season in a week where you'll struggle even if you end up getting a RB in a trade. All those RBs have issues but I rank in terms of upside at this point Mendenhall/Rice/Slaton

You could probably sell high on Steve Smith right now, being ranked number 1 in most leagues. With the emergence of Nicks and Manningham and Eli's health unknown, I'm not comfortable keeping Smith ranked in the top 10 for the rest of the way. That being said, I just traded away Smith for Pierre Thomas in a 12-team league and some feel I got the short end of the stick. I would like to think you can get much better backs for Smith or DJax than Mendenhall or Slaton at this point. Even in my 12-team league, there are very slim pickings at WR this year and I can only imagine the fate of many teams in your 14-team league. Send out some feelers to see what you can get. If you're among the top in your league I would even consider packaging one of your primary backs for an elite player.
