Postby bale » Wed Oct 14, 2009 9:41 am

This trade was just offered to me. Not going to do it in this form, but what should I counter with? I would like to get Celek for a bye week fill-in next week, and Jax has a good matchup this week as well. Thanks in advance. WHIR.

My team:

10 man, standard-ish scoring
QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K

M. Schaub, J. Flacco
A. Johnson, C, Johnson, R. White, A. Bryant, R. Williams, A. Collie
MJD, K. Smith, S. Slaton, Moreno, A. Bradshaw
T. Heap
M. Prater
NYJ, MIA, SanFran

His team:

Rodgers, Orton
R. Moss, S. Smith (NYG), Ochocinco,Walter
Turner, Lynch, Barber, Addai, Brown
Celek, Olsen
Akers
GNB, SDG, Jax
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!

I feel like you are getting a ball deal here no matter what as I go through options. You can upgrade at a wr spot with something like Moreno or Slaton/A bryant for Celek/S Smith or Ocho. If the guy is looking for two solid rb's in return here then I think it depends on how you feel about Lynch who I'm not a huge fan of so I wouldn't be willing to include the both of those guys cause I think you can land a better TE elsewhere by just giving up one of them like a Slaton or Moreno for Gates, Tony G, or D Clark. Each league is different though but that's my 2 cents.
