AP trade!!!! Need help ASAP, WHIR....

Postby freshlesh » Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:27 pm

I'll be honest... my WRs are horrible. I have Steve Smith (Car) and Bernard Berrian and they have been the reason that I have lost my last two games. One of the guys in my league offered me Michael Turner, Steve Smith (NY) and Sims-Walker for AP. While trading AP is tough, it really makes sense for my team. I can use the two Smiths and Sims-Walker as my flex (currently using Donald Brown). Am I crazy? What do you think?

I hate taking the multiple players in a 2-1 or 3-1 but I think this is solid value for you. Turner is going to score plenty of td's so you aren't dropping too much at rb since neither of them really catch passes. S Smith is a big upgrade at wr since your current pair is not performing. Take the trade

Ya I think its doable... with Turner as a return! it seems like enough given that you need receivers.

Help with mine please!

In a vacuum this is a great trade for you. Smith is the primary receiver in NY and will be solid for PPR. Sims-Walker is emerging as the go-to guy for Gerard and has been posting WR1-type numbers and you're not facing a huge downgrade in Turner if he continues to deliver.

You gotta consider who you have to drop to accommodate this trade and who your opponent can pick up. In reality this trade may turn out fairer than it seems but you should still do it if you have a few droppable guys.

Depends on who you have to drop, but that is a great trade for you.

Hell yea this is a good deal for you. You are getting two awesome receivers and you're not downgrading all that much at RB. DO IT!!!!
