Trade Offer - WHIR

Postby Swipe79 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 2:09 pm

My league is a 12 team keeper (up to 20 keepers - draft pick compensation for less) starting 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB.

Scoring is:
1 point per 75 passing yard, 1 point per 1 PaTD, -1 point per INT, -1 point per fumble
1 point per 33 rush/rec yards, 1 point per 1 RuTD or ReTD, -1 point per fumble
1 point per 3 Individual Tackles, 1 point per sack, 1 point per Forced Fumble, 1 point per DeTD, 1 point per INT

My current roster (reserve)
QB - Ben Roethlisberger, Shaun Hill (J Russell, B Gradkowski)
RB - Adrian Peterson, Frank Gore (LT, LeSean McCoy, Shonn Greene, Fred Jackson, Jamaal Charles)
WR - Dwayne Bowe, DeSean Jackson, Hines Ward (Terrell Owens, Earl Bennett, Donald Driver, Mark Clayton, Jeremy Maclin, Josh Morgan)
TE - Owen Daniels (Todd Heap)
K - Jeff Reed
DL - Marcus Stroud, Osi Umenyiora
LB - D'Qwell Jackson, EJ Henderson
DB - Antoine Bethea, Empty

I have another owner who is interested in trading for DeSean Jackson. He has Carson Palmer on his roster, and that is who I would like to get. He would need to get a QB back in the trade, as he only has 2 starters. Here is what I am thinking of offering;

My - Shaun Hill, DeSean Jackson

His - Carson Palmer, Braylon Edwards

Does this seem like a reasonable trade? His other WR are Steve Smith (NYG), Torry Holt, Antonio Bryant, Pierre Garcon, Andre Caldwell, and a few other that I have no interest in).

I think this is ok.... Braylon has high upside on his new team but dont know whats going to happen... I think Steve Smith is the real deal though with Eli. Go Steve Smith route

Help with mine please!

I think that you can offer it, but most likely it will be turned down. Hill is a good game manager, which means fantasy death. I think that Braylons value went way up after his MNF performance so to offer those two for Braylon and Palmer it will most likely be turned down. I would offer it, he will most likely reject it or counter you, I may even throw in Greene for that deal. Good luck.

That sounds like a solid deal. You upgrade at QB and arguably will have the same production at WR.
