Thomas, he is the most under the radar under player in the league and will get you a td, maybe 2. Rice is the worst play for sure against that d.

I go with Thomas. Giants have a stifling pass defense, and the Saints will run more often in this one.

This is definitely true. I've been keeping my eye on big ol' Pat Williams, and he seems to have lost a little something from the last 3 years. His backups are capable, but there is a drop-off. Childress has been rotating Fred Evans and Jimmy Kennedy in the mix a lot more often than he did last year. Something else to consider with this MN run defense: Pat sat out the entire preseason, because Childress was "resting him". Is he really that old?

Anyway, I still like the Vikes run defense...they are one of the best, but they may not be *the* best this year. I think Ray Rice is the better option right now (Pierre Thomas coming off a recent injury...being in a pass happy offense, etc). It's a roll of the dice in some ways, but I'd take my chances with Rice.
