I do think the loss is not squarely on the shoulders of Daunte but he defnitely helped lose. The first pick he threw at the beginning of the game he had Bates wide open down field. I don't understand why he throws into double coverage to Kliensasser but not Moss. Moss can fight for the ball or out-leap the defenders for it. I don't think Frerotte is better, but it may wake Daunte up a little.
