two trade offers, which would you make if either

Postby jimhorn888 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 5:36 pm

I will list my roster below. I feel I need to upgrade at RB due to the uncertainty surrounding Barber's health and the diminishing role of W. Parker. Which of these two trades would you make? If you wouldn't make either please state that as well. Thanks and I will help anyone in return.

N. Burleson for M. Lynch or]
D. Driver for Ray Rice
Here's my line up:
QB- K Warner
WR - C. Ochocinco
WR - Roddy White
WR - D. Driver
RB - M. Jones-Drew
RB - M. Barber
TE - K Winslow
D/ST - Phil
K - D. Akers
Bench - T Hightower
Bench - W Parker
Bench - N. Burleson
Bench - Josh Morgan
Bench - E. Royal
Bench - M. Hasselbeck
Standard scoring 1 pt for 10 yds rushing or receiving, 6 pts for rushing or receiving TD. This is NOT a PPR league.

Well, you're not starting Burleson, so logic says you should trade him first. I also like Lynch slightly more than Rice -- I don't trust that Raven RB situation one bit. The wildcard is that Jauron will almost definitely be fired soon, which could open up the Bills' offense. So I'd probably say Burleson for Lynch, but it's close.

I could start either Driver or Burleson at WR 3. C'mon people tell me what you think about these trades.

Please don't let this other poster steer you in the wrong direction as they have it all wrong here!!!

Burleson is absolutely having a better year and is better (when healthy which he is) then Driver so keep Burleson cause when hass is in then Burleson is gold!

Also, The situation Balt is just fine and R.Rice is proving to be a top 5 to top 10 RB this year (especially bonus material for PPR). McGahee had a couple decent weeks and was taking the goal line touches but that is no longer the case and McGahee is almost out of the picture. Lynch has done nothing....absolutely nothing since returning to action and FJax is the one to worry about as he is still rolling heads so.....

Absolutely take R.Rice for Driver in a heartbeat!!! Do not trade Burleson for Lynch or you'll regret it every week from here on out! (if you don't believe me take a look at the numbers)!!!

Good Luck!

I'll second WhipperSnapper: Every week I've left Rice on my bench this year I've kicked myself. I'd take him for Driver if I were you.
