Benson trade - WHIR

Postby reconsniper » Wed Oct 14, 2009 10:48 pm

Would you do this trade.

Westbrook / D. Jackson for Benson /Hines Ward

I've been looking for a way to get a 2nd back. His receivers are TJ, Driver, Jennings, Ward, Mason

I am 2 - 3 so I need to make some roster changes so i'm not blown out of a playoff spot. I thought about doing Westbrook and Harvin and then having a space to pick up a waiver like Collie or A. Gonzalez.

Opinions?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about this one. I just don't see how it really helps you that much. Benson has been great thus far this year, but I I don't see him as a huge upgrade over Westy...also, I think that Ward is a downgrade from DJax.

SO, I just don't see this trade really helping you out that much...I'd say no

thanks for helping with mine

I dont know I think that benson is for some reason the real truth this year and they have some favorable matchups ahead. westy is just not looking like himself and thats kind of scary. however you know they will always throw and if hes on the field those two will catch a lot of balls. please help me back

I'd say give it a week at most, Iono I might even take it now. Djax has been shaky so far, look for him to get his chemistry back with the newly healthy McNabb against a shaky defense in Oak. If he still doesn't produce, then make the trade. CB is outrunning AP this year so far and Philly is more of a pass first team. Also Hines has been arguably been Ben's favorite target in Pitt this year. Additionally, Hines is 4th in recieving yards this year ahead of AJ. So yeaaa ;-D ;-D

I would see if you could get TJ or Driver in the trade instead of Ward but if not then I would take this trade absolutely!!!

Benson is the real deal and Westy IMO is pretty much done. Whether it's a ploy to get McCoy more touches or not Westy has not looked like the Westy of old and Benson will work miles by fantasy points all over him this year so grab Benson at all cost as he should finish the season a Top 10 if not Top 5 RB!!! (anyone who can pop 100+ yrds on Minn Def and also pop over 80 yrds and a TD against Pitts Def has definately got skills)!!!

I don't really care for Ward much so that's why I mentioned if you could get TJ or Driver instead then I would do it. (he would be more inclined to get rid of Driver since he has Jennings also. Shoot....he might not want Jennings the way he has played and if not then try getting him....lol)

Good Luck!
