Need some help at Flex this week....WHIR as always

Postby Calix » Thu Oct 15, 2009 9:51 am

10yds/pt rush/rec, 1 ppr, .5pt/rush attempt, 6pt all TD

Lineup:
QB - FLACCO
RB - Jacobs
RB - SJAX
WR - MSW
WR - Braylon
FLEX - ?
TE - Celek
K - Tynes
Def - MIN

I have Vincent Jackson facing Denver in Denver, and Jonathan Stewart facing TB in TB. SO who do I plug into Flex spot this week?

Denver is ranked very high in pass and rushing defense and it is a division contest, so this could go as a slugfest on the ground, or it could become a shootout real early with Orton coming off his best game in forever and McDaniels trusting him to throw more.

TB is crap against the run and pass, and this could quickly become a run the clock down game for Carolina. Meaning DWILL and Stewart would have a ton of touches. However it is hard to guess who of the 2 will get the most touches since Carloina Coach will play the hot hand, and DWILL is not running that well.

Help me out please.

I like Stewart vs TB. He has a chance to get a few REC + the .5 per carry will get you at least 5 pts. I don't think V Jackson will get more than 5 REC vs denver.

Thanks for helping me! ;-D

I would definitely go with Stewart here. He has a great chance for a TD, plus the point per carry wil definitely help you out.

Good luck!

I say go with Stewart. He had a good showing last time and he will be definitely sharing the workload with Williams. Plus TB's rush defense is struggling.

thanks for help with mine!!!

i would go with j-stew against the bucs because d-will isnt playing that great so j-stew will get a lot of touches and has a better chance to score than v-jax. denver is a great def so i wouldnt play jackson

One note, the Denver/SD game is at San Diego

VJax is always a threat to go nuts but he probably draws Champ Bailey in coverage and he just shut down Randy Moss.

With the .5 per carry I say go with the running back Stewart. Vjax probably gets 5 or 6 catches tops vs. Bailey, but vs. the Bucs Stewart should have over 10 carries, maybe a lot more and the Bucs probably get rolled again.

Thanks for your help with mine!
