Need help with my lineup! 100% WHIR

Postby FearandLoathinginATL » Thu Oct 15, 2009 12:41 pm

All right, Im sure these are problems a lot of you would like to have but I need a QB, 2RB, FLEX, 2WR, and TE. Yeah I know thats basically my ENTIRE lineup but I have hard decisions at each position. Any help at any position would be appreciated! and as always 100% WHIR.

QB- Schaub @ CIN
QB- Hasselbeck vs. ARI
QB- Cutler @ ATL

RB- Benson vs. HOU
RB/FLEX- Thomas vs. NYG
RB/FLEX- Grants vs. DET
RB/FLEX- Williams @ TB

WR- Fitzgerald @ SEA
WR- Marshall @ SD
WR/FLEX- Mike Sims-Walker vs. STL
WR/FLEX- Santana Moss vs. KC

(Pick either of these 2 off waivers, Witten is on BYE)
TE- Heath Miller vs. CLE
TE- Finley vs. DET

-I kind of want to start Hasselbeck over Schaub, ARI is horrendous against the pass and he had a huge week last week but dont know if he'll be able to duplicate it.
-Benson is a no brainer, no ones allowed more rushing TDs than HOU. Grant and Thomas have pretty even matchups as far as stats go. Im not high on Williams right now with Stewart getting more looks and usually the goal line. And while TB is 28th against the run, they've only given up 3 TDs on the ground.
-Marshall has finally found his rhythm and has been consistently good the past couple of weeks. I think Fitz too, that game could end up a shootout. MSW has a great matchup and so does Moss. WAS and KC both suck and KC is averaging 36 pts/g on the road. He is so hit or miss but this week could easily hit.
-The Steelers have been passing a lot more and a lot of those have gone to Miller, whos going up against a horrible CLE d. Finley hasnt had a stellar year but blew up last week. Plus DET has given up 6 TDs to TEs in 5 games while CLE has only given up 1. Safe play or go big?

Like I said its a lot of info and I didnt really want to make several posts, so if you can help out with any of my problems, I will gladly return the favor.

I like hasselbeck against arizonas pass d. plus hes at home again. Love ryan grant this week as a safe solid pic at home against crapy lions. I think heath miller is the safe pic as a free agent but your team is so loaded it looks like you could take the risk of the huge upside finley might give you against detroit. Finley looked amazing against minnesota.

QB- Schaub @ CIN
QB- Hasselbeck vs. ARI - I'm playing Hasselbeck over Schaub this week
QB- Cutler @ ATL

RB- Benson vs. HOU
RB/FLEX- Thomas vs. NYG
RB/FLEX- Grants vs. DET
RB/FLEX- Williams @ TB

WR- Fitzgerald @ SEA
WR- Marshall @ SD
WR/FLEX- Mike Sims-Walker vs. STL

Bold italics is what I'd roll with, Williams would have me worried, but I still like him over Grant. I'd swing for the fences on Finley myslef.

QB: Hasselbeck- great matchup vs arizona who has been torched by qb's this year

RB: Benson- must start against a suspect houston def
RB: Grant- had a week off and is fresh and playing the lions

WR: Fitz- must start period
WR: Marshall- him and orton have a great connection

Flex: Sims-Walker- was a must start before the mishap last week so this week should make no difference

for d-will i dont play him because he hasn't shown anything this year and as for thomas i dont start him because this week will be a shootout and the 3 backs for new orleans are healthy so he could have touches taken away from him

good luck and thanks for the help with mine

Definitely Hasselback (see last week) and Finley (offensive line issues favor tight ends). The others i unfortunately don't have a good idea about.

Well, I guess starting Hasselbeck this week was a horrible freaking decision... Good thing I started Williams
