it would have to be starting brooks over pennington. i had a bad feeling brooks would be cold after a by week. also should of never started horn. horn has always been a warrior and plays through pain but he really must be hurt. should of started A. johnson or kennison.

The Titans deserve due mention for only putting up 10 points gainst the Jags. Had they lost the game they probably would have been everyone unanimous decision.
"At 60 yards it wont be a record FG distance, It will however set a record for longest post field goal celebration if Gramatica makes it."

Al Michaels, in reference to a Gramatica 60YRD field goal attempt week 5(2003 season) of Monday Night Football.

Any Vikes fan would, but I may have more reason that I have thought of than you. I have MANY...how bout you? Just like to see if I see the same things in games as fellow fans.

Zimm, you may very well have thought of more reasons..

Here are a few of mine:

Play calling - I'm certainly no expert, but I didn't get today's approach. The Vikes have many weapons but Moss is the most lethal. What happened? I also missed the adjustments that are made when your plan isn't working.

Why doesn't Daunte throw long more often to Moss? Well, last week, Tice used the approach of trying to make short yardage first downs in order to keep the offense on the field longer. The goal? To keep the defense off of the field. I still haven't gotten over that one.

In the Green Bay game, Tice called a time out when GB had 10 yards to go on third down with a minute or so left in the first half. That seemed odd. GB used the time to gather... and then score.

Defense - This is the same group that played in the first 6 games. The speed seems to have disappeared. Most seem to have mentally checked out. The amount of yards on the ground given up over the past 4 games compared to the first 6 is .. well.. you get the idea.

Quarterback / Decision Making - I have much respect for Daunte. It's only today's game that disappoints me so I don't want to emphasize this point.

Goof of the week; Lewis's fumble late in the game costs the Ravens the game. That's a major goof. The Chargers effort(?) is more deserving of a team nomination for Dud of the week.

The goof of the week has to go to me for playing Horn even though I knew I shouldn't! :~( I second guessed myself on playing Wayne in his place and he would have gotten me at least 9 points instead of the 2 or so I got from Horn. I respect the fact that he has chosen to play through injuries, but bottom line is that doesn't help my fantasy team! :-t He is definitely not an automatic start for me any more!

QBs: Manning, Garcia, Carr
RBs: R. Williams, L. Betts, T.J. Ducket, T. Barber
WRs: M. Harrison, T. Holt, J. Horn, A. Toomer, D. Mason, R. Wayne
TEs: S. Sharpe, A. Crumpler
K: M. Andersen
D Flex: Strahan, Dhani Jones, D. Sharper

Plays 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 3 Off. Flex, 1K, 3 D. Flex each game

Sandbox league, non-keeper, head-to-head, 10 team league
Don't ever underestimate the girls!!

Let's go DAWGS!!
