Postby TTTBone » Sun Nov 16, 2003 7:53 pm

Just heard that Henry cracked the fibula in his right leg, but continued to play.8-o He gained 149 yds on 23 carries, 10 of those carries after the injury. Tough guy.

It's true. We'll know more tomorrow about how long he may be out, but he definitely has a broken bone in his leg.

It's on every site you can think of.

Travis Henry, RB BUF

News: Travis Henry cracked a bone in his lower right leg but continued to play with the injury Sunday against Houston. Bills coach Gregg Williams did not provide full extent of the injury and has not ruled Henry out of their Week 12 game against Indianapolis.

He had 10 carries after the injury. One tough SOB. Reminds me of McNabb against Arizona last year.

Yep he is a tough SOB, he has done OK, but TBO I expected more from him when I drafted him.
He missed almost 2 whole games, and he will most likely miss 3-5 weeks here ( I can't see him playing RB with a cracked fibula...).
I hope I'm wrong though ( B4 anyone asks where I got 3-5, NOWHERE, it's just my fear).

Overall if he misses significant time he will seriously underachieve IMO, but thats OK I have a few of those type of players.
At least he'll end up better than RobKmart.....

I thought Burns only was before because the other guy was hurt too. Is McGahee readdy to play? I hope not, he isn't a FA.

I'm not finding any recent news on McGahee. I thought he was going to be available by now? Sounds like it may be a committee responsibility until someone steps up....I guess a gamble.
