Need a Master Here LT, Marshall, Heap for ..........

LT, Marshall, Heap for Gates, Mendenhall and Knox

This is a flex league with a .5 PPR. I am pretty deep at WR already but am am not sure who i would rather have, i am thinking LT willl bust out of his slump soon (hopefully not this week vs my Broncos) but for the long run. I am thinking if i get Marshall i can then flip White Jenning or Marshall for another Elite TE or maybe a top 5 RB in a package? WHIR

my team is:

Brady,
RB - Grant, Mendenhall, Leon Washington, Morris, Charles, Harrison
WR - Roddy White, Jennings, Burleson, Knox
TE - Gates
DEF- Chi, Bengals
K - rotates

I wouldn't do that trade unless you're positive you can get an elite tight end from another trade since you already have good WR depth.

Mendanhall = LT
Gates >> Heap
Knox << Marshall

I guess it depends on how good you think Mendanhall and LT are gonna be. LT has turned injury prone and Mendanhall is still dealing with Parker/Moore.

I know Mendenhall has huge upside provided he starts which i am not convinced he will. LT is still the starter and will be on the field most of the time.

True about LT, but you also have to consider his age and downside. He is becoming injury prone and could pull a Marshall Faulk. At the same time Mendanhall could have a couple bad games and end up buried int he depth chart. The more I think about it the more I like the Mendanhall side...
