I'm thinking of dealing MANNINGHAM, GARCON and EDGE for CHESTER TAYLOR and HAKEEM NICKS

before you think I am giving too much let me explain that it is a 14 team league with a BIG roster size. I am stacked at reicever already and RBs are much harder to come by in this league (virtually none on the Waivers). I personally don't think Manningham and Nicks will be THAT much of a switch and I think once Gonzalez comes back after the bye week Garcon's value will drop immensely. I need Chester Taylor to help with BYE weeks.

Can you please tell me if you think it is a good move or a bad move?

as i predicted..collie seems to have locked the No.2 while Gonzo is out..collie is simply the more talented reciever, and with gonzo soon on his way back, there will soon be no use for him, but you are in a 14team league. Garcon will be 5-6 option on that offense. Wayne, Clark, addai, brown, gonzo and collie are ahead of him soon.

Manningham.

Make way for Hakeem Nicks is all i have to say...manningham is barley holding on to his no 2 role, and with hixon back..he can possible fall behind further.

Edge is nothing in my eyes..that RB situation is something to avoid.




Now..getting nicks is a good thing...manning is having the best year of his career.

and chester taylor..well having peterson go down in a 14 team league makes him very valuable, you also free up a roster spot.
maybe grab lance moore if hes available in your league.

Honestly, I would not do this trade if it involves Manningham. I don't think your as deep at WR as you think. Edwards is good (but too early to tell if he can be a monster in NY), and ochocinco is good, and bryant can be good again, but other than that, I don't like your receivers (not a fan of knox, garcon as u pointed out has limited time). Also, your RBs are not bad at all for a 14 team league. 3 legit starters in barber, slaton, and ricky, and choice is a good backup. I think Manningham is too good at this point to trade him away with edge and garcon only for Chester Taylor and and Hakeem Nicks (Manningham right now is a top 10 WR). If you're going to trade Manningham, I'd suggest going higher than Chester Taylor.

That being said, however, I have no issue with the trade if you replace manningham See if he will take TO or Antonio Bryant instead, since they are worth less.

Manningham is no longer a top 10 reciever. his value will hit the ground like a safe unless injures happen...Nicks is their guy now...i know what im talking about, and you are pretty good at reciever for a 14 team league with that roster size
