Small Dynasty League Deal, need input please!

Postby suhgamer » Thu Oct 15, 2009 8:17 pm

Not a huge blockbuster, but I feel like I'm in a pickle with this deal.

It's a 20 man roster league, starting 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 DEF and 1 WR/RB/TE. Standard scoring applies.

I currently have Witten and Vernon Davis on the BYE and picked up Bo Scaife for the week.

I was just offered, Jamal Lewis for Heath Miller. I'd drop Vernon, but I like his future upside as a dynasty league. I earlier traded a 3rd round pick in our rookie draft for Jamal Lewis. Is this a deal I should make, or just skate by for the week with Bo?

Skate by this week. You're right, Vernon Davis still has the potential to be a top 5 TE, and Jamal Lewis is going to get the majority of carries in CLE if he is healthy (if last week is any indicator). Heath Miller is good, but no player for one week is worth a Jamal Lewis.

Well first I don't think I would have traded any future draft picks for Lewis who is on his final stages of his career. Second I think that you are set with your te's for now, but the only reason I may do this is to get younger, but there isn't a real need for 3te's. If you think you could deal Davis for something better and keep Miller as a bye week fill in, then I may make this move. If not stick with Bo for the week.
