MY TEAM (3-2) QB P. Manning, (D. Garrard) RB R. Rice, B. Westbrook, (S. Slaton), (L. Tomlinson) WR G. Jennings, S. Holmes, S. Smith-CAR, (S. Breaston) TE A. Gates K N. Rackers DST Ravens, (Panthers)
Between a solid draft (1.12 Manning, 12.1 Rice), trades (Gates, Smith), and waiver pickups (Tomlinson, Breaston), I have a team with excellent depth -- but I've also spent all year wondering when or if ANY of my RBs or WRs will start putting up RB1/WR1 numbers. Having Manning has helped, especially since it's a standard CBS league (meaning 6-point passing TDs). Still, I'd like to try to move Peyton Manning in a package deal for a respectable QB+stud RB and WR to remedy this if possible, and I do see a couple teams where an offer might make sense.
What Manning+RB+WR combo will it take to get each of the following targets?
1. C. Palmer/M. Turner/R. Moss 2. E. Manning/M. Forte/L. Fitzgerald 3. T. Brady/R. Grant/R. Wayne

Question: are these 3 different offers for Peyton, or 9 separate player trades? If 3 package deals, sweeet, can't go wrong any which way, but... If I were to trade Peyton, I'd ask for C. Palmer and a good QB in return, like a Cutler or Rivers. I just don't think you want to end up making the trade for a RB/WR and then have Garrard starting, he's just too inconsistent. Peyton on the other hand is the top player so far in fantasy football, and in the nfl imo.
Honestly, I wouldn't trade Peyton. With the season he's having, he's consistently worth more than any other player in fantasy land, and seems like he'll have a carrer season. Honestly, I don't see that big of a problem with your wrs, Jennings, S. Smith, and Holmes are all studs who are off to slow starts, and if you're at 3-2 so far, it's not bad at all considering these guys have nowhere to go but up for the rest of the season. As for your RBs, Rice is prob going to get the majority of touches in Bal and produce, but I would keep a good eye on LT this week. He still has alot of big name value and I would try and package him with Breaston or another rb and try to target Frank Gore. He's on bye this week but coming off of an injury you should be able to buy him low as a no. 1 back. Imo, don't trade Peyton unless you get a rediculous deal that includes a good QB and stud other. I know you are on his bye week, but I'd wait it out.

The three lists are targets I'd like to get in return for Peyton, so as to improve at RB and WR, while not leaving myself with Garrard starting.
My question is which RB and WR on my team would I have to package to get those targeted lists in return.
Option 3 is the far better one, but it depends on the owner of the other teams. You need to find someone with a losing record looking to shake things up before it's too late. That way it won't be too difficult for them to let go of their solid qb either. Or another option, pick up Hasslebeck if he's available, and try to trade 3 for 2. I think he'll be solid here and out since the seahawks will probably be playing from behind and he'll be playing catchup w/ housh and burelson.
I like option 2 or 3. Personally, 3 seems the best right now. Brady is better than Eli. Forte's value is hurt by Cutler slinging it around. For a fair offer, I would give up Manning, any one of your RB that you like the least, and Holmes or Smith. With Smith having more value than Holmes.
I must be all alone here ......but i like #1 the best but #3 is a close second. I just think Carson has alot of upside and Turner will end the season miles better than Grant and WHEN Brady turns it around Moss will be a stud. I wouldnt touch #2 just because Eli will not contiue to put up big numbers all year, and the run heavy Bears have turned into the pass happy Bears. I guess what im trying to say is that you would have to give up less to make a deal w/ #1 and thats why i like it better than #3. I would try Manning, Westbrook, Holmes.
ROSTER/10 team QB-P.Manning/A.Luck RB-McCoy/T.Richardson/Mathews/D.Richardson WR-AJ Green/V.Cruz/D.Thomas/T.Smith/J.Gordon FLEX- RB/WR TE-H.Miller/M.Bennet
Yea No. 3 is the best option, but those owners would have to be crazy to give up any of these trades. I just don't see peyton's value as being worth 3 studs. Option 1 and 2 are slight possibilities only because of the mediocrity of Palmer and Eli's injury questions.
