TE help - J. Carlson or T. Heap? WHIR!

Postby fanghsu » Fri Oct 16, 2009 8:10 am

No PPR. Should I start:

John Carlson vs. ARI
Todd Heap @ MIN

Minnesota is horrible against TEs, so I'm thinking about starting Todd Heap. I still like John Carlson, but word is that he'll be needed to block more for Hasselbeck. Any thoughts from the gallery?

I like Carlson, HOWEVER, GB's TE core light up the MIN D two weeks ago. And my theroy on this is becasue Rodgers had ZERO time to throw downfield and had to do the dump and dink passes.

I'm sure Balt's offensive line is better then GB's, but MIN will cause pressue on the 2nd year Flacco making him do the same.

I would go with Heap.

Thx for the help with mine...funny I actually have these two tes as well I was going to roll with carlson thouh it is a good point about the minn d, heap and finley are quite a bit different so heap may get a few catches and a few yds but as a raven fan I feel we will struggle all together and will try to involve our wr more this week. carlson has much higher upside in a likely high scoring game
