Too many good WR's, which 2 would you start? WHIR

Postby nhgent » Fri Oct 16, 2009 12:16 pm

So, I know this is a good problem to have but I need some help making a decision on which TWO of these guys to put into my starting lineup:

S Smith (Car) @ TB
R White vs CHI
B Marshall @ SD
M Sims-Walker vs STL

Its a standard scoring league with 1/2 point per reception. My gut tells me Smith and White, but I know a case could be made for the other 2 pretty easily. Any help is appreciated.

Leave a link and I'll help you.

Thanks for the help...

Steve Smith for sure...actually, always play anyone going against TB because they are terrible.

I think I would play Roddy vs Chicago over Marshall because Chi secondary is pretty weak.

I would have to go with Smith and White.

White had 112 yards and a TD last year against the Bear. And the Bears' secondary this year is worse then last.

I have the same predicament you do except Boldin instead of Marshall. So if you check out my link you can see some of the answers I got as well. One WR I would sit is Sims-Walker. I see the Jags getting up early using a heavy dose of MJD limiting Sims-Walkers opportunities plus Holt is playing his old team for the first time so I look for him to have a pretty good game. I guess I would also sit Marshall. The Chargers are playing at home coming off a bye week so they had extra time to prepare for Marshall & the Broncos.

Roddy White and B. Marshall for sure! White went nuts last week and certainly has more left in the tank, even against a stout Bears D; in fact, the 9ers D is as good if not better than Chi-town. Expect ATL to get it in again this wknd. Marshall will have to play big this week for the Broncos; moreover, he's become Orton's blanky!

Smith is good but hasn't proven much this season and remember a WR is only as good as his QB and Delhomme put the SPECT in SUSPECT!

No need to mention that other character you're deciding between... He's not even in the same league with the boys mentioned up top.
