A lot of people knock small leagues because it takes less managing to win due to rosters all being stacked, etc. Well, regardless if that's true or not look at this excitement coming down to the wire. Granted this doesn't happen every year.

4 playoff spots. By record, then by total fantasy pts.

1. 6-5 832 pts (holmes and farve)
2. 6-5 828 pts (me)
3. 6-5 808 pts (portis and moulds)
4. 6-5 787 pts (garcia and LT)
5. 6-5 722 pts (gannon,rice and garner trio)
6. 5-6 842 pts (faulk and brooks)
7. 5-6 767 pts (Owens and McCallister)
8. 4-7 707 pts (manning, horn, staley)

feels like the damn AFC West!
Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.

Well needless to say that it appears that a)every game counts and b)it's going to come down to the wire. Pretty exciting.

Only one of my five fantasy teams has a losing record, and it's in a Yahoo 10-team league. The other four will probably all make the playoffs. It's really difficult to play catch up in the smaller leagues. If your draft picks fizzle or your stars get hurt, those one or two bad weeks can haunt your whole season. I like the 12-team leagues best so far, but I'd also like to try some bigger leagues.
