Bradshaw @ NO or L.T. vs. DEN

Postby MoDee » Fri Oct 16, 2009 4:23 pm

Bradshaw @ NO
LT vs. DEN (Monday night)
Sproles vs. DEN (Monday night)

Need 1 for RB2. Have Grant agains the Lions as my lock RB1.

What do you guys think?

Really thinking about starting LT over Bradshaw…. Few reasons why:

1) Bradshaw does not get as many carries
2) NO has not let up a 100 yd rusher this year
3) LT has scored in the last six Monday night games he’s played in
4) LT is healthy now
5) Even though Bradshaw has outperformed Jacobs, the share of the carries will not shift towards Bradshaw, Jacobs will still get the majority.
6) In LT’s past nine games versus the Broncos, LT has 17 total touchdowns and four 100-yard rushing efforts.

But I've heard arguments for Bradshaw!!!

As hard as it is to sit Bradshaw after last weeks performance, I think you have to play LT here...

For all the reasons you mentioned and the BYE factor - SD has had 2 weeks to prepare for Denver and NO has had 2 weeks to prepare for NY. Not to mention, this is an absolute must win for SD.

The most important question is "Are you PPR?"

If yes, start LT OR Sproles & Bradshaw

If no, start Jacobs and LT

If PPR and KR yards, then Def. Sproles and Bradshaw.

Good Luck!!!

I'd start LT. He has a better matchup and he says he's completely healthy. If he can't produce this week, he's going into the dud category.

Thanks for your help with mine. This is a really rough one, and I'd probably go with Bradshaw most other weeks, but with the matchups I think LT gets the nod here.

Denver is on a tear and they are legit. I am reluctant to start anybody against the Denver DEF. Bradshaw is playing tremendous right now, not to mention is coming off an amazing game last week.

Start Bradshaw here

2005 Yahoo Public League Champion (thanks FF Cafe)

I think you've you answered you won question... but as stated above after week 5 bradshaw its hard to bench, but personally i think L.T. has a major upside, not to mention: 1)comming off a bye, 2)MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL BABY, 3)and scored three TD's against denver in there last meeting...
