Brees is comming off two bad starts, but is at home after a bye week against a decent NYG Defense. Bell, Thomas, Bush will all be playing, so I wonder if they will do anything but run and play a hard D.
Garard has another dream matchup at home against St Louis and Sims-walker is back. That said, he had a similar dream matchup last week and cost me a game.
If I sink to a record of 1-5 will pretty much do me in so my season could easily come down to this decision.

If you love something, let it go....
If it loves you, it will come back to you...
If it doesn't come back to you...
You can always hunt it down and kill it....
I wouldn't call them bad starts for Brees..They were solid winning performances that weren't good for fantasy stats. I don't think you can bench Brees(unless you have Peyton).
You will have those that say never sit studs..in this case, Garrard at home with MSW is the stud of the two.. Brees now has this guy named Pierre Thomas which gives him a ground game..go with reputation you go with Brees, go for the win, you go Garrard..IMHO..

I'm a Patriot Guard Rider and dang proud to be one

I'd go Brees. NO vs NYG is going to be a shoot out. both QB's are going to be throwing all day. and i wouldn't worry about NO's run game both Thomas and Bell aren't 100%
I don't think the NYG pass defense has been all that special so far. That, and this is a "prove it" game for the Saints. I don't see Sean Payton being reckless enough to try and beat the Giants at their own game, he's going to force them to keep up with the Drew Brees aerial show, imho, especially playing at home. Look for the pass setting up the run, then some shots deeper down the field if Thomas/Bell can do any damage on the ground. Good luck, thanks for the help with mine!
Not even a question...u start Brees...the Giants have played patsies which boosted their D stats up to now...And what about MJD doing all the work and Garrad just managing?...I play the match-ups...and starting Garrad over Brees in comical Expect a high scoring & hopefully competitive game Good Luck
Every single time I have played a matchup over a stud it has haunted me.
While it looks like Garrard has the chance to blow up all huge-like, what are the chances that he just hands the ball off to MoJo all day? What are the chances that when he does throw the ball, he throws an INT?
I'd take Brees any day. He may not have the tasty matchup, but he also doesn't have the risk. And remember, studs are studs because they have the ability to go big against good teams.
If your fantasy team is stacked, and can handle the risk associated with starting Garrard, then maybe you take a chance. Otherwise, stick with Brees.
I think you go with Brees. I have a similar issue at WR (Colston or Mike Sims-Walker), and am going with Colston. When Brees gets in the zone, you can't touch him. He's got the weapons to expose the Giants D weaknesses, and Pierre to keep them honest.
