Simple: S. Jackson or C. Portis. WHIR

Postby Byrdsboy » Sat Oct 17, 2009 7:17 pm

In our 10-team non-ppr league, I'm starting Benson (CIN) v. HOU and Moreno (DEN) @SD

My flex can be S. Jackson (STL) @ JAC or Portis(WASH) v. KC

Jackson killed this team last time they played - but these are different teams and STL sucks. Maybe Bulger playing again will help them.

Portis has a great record against KC. Further, they've sucked v. the run. (Neither defending team is all that.) But Portis isn't the Portis of old. Plus, he's injured.

SO, WHADDYA THINK?

I say go with jackson for the simple fact that hes the only good offensive player on that team. portis has a nice match up but i just cant see myself trusting him. i also suggest that u trade portis.

Please help...

haha, if only jackson was up against his own defense as the previous poster stated.

i don't trust anybody on the rams offense, so i'd go with portis by default.

lil' help

Jackson hasn't scored yet b/c Stl offense is terrible (and he did fumble on goal line), but he is 4th in rushing yardage, and I bet he sees increased action in passing game tomorrow as well. Portis theoretically has good matchup, but does not look the same this year. I'd play Jackson. Good luck.

I'll go with Jackson. His team has sucked all year and he's still 4th in the league in rushing. He'll hit the endzone finally this week.

Help with mine?

I say SJAX...because at 1st JAX will stack the box till STL starts throwing actual receptions then that will open up SJAX to run wild...Play SJAX ;-D
