Need WR help WHIR!

Postby theckeriiii » Sat Oct 17, 2009 8:12 pm

10 team PPR

With bye week, am starting 2 RBs tomorrow (we have a WR/RB flex and a WR/TE flex). Need to start 4 from the folowing group:

Dwaye Bowe
Brent Celek
M Colston
Braylon Edwards
Eddie Royal
Mike Sims Walker

Now, weather could change everything, but am thinking of starting Bowe, Colston and Edwards. Leaning towards Sims-Walker for 4th spot, but PHI has great matchup against OAK tomorrow, and Celek could have big day. However, he is likely at best McNabb's 3rd target (Jackson and Maclin being 1st two).

What would you do? WHIR-just leave link. Thanks.

You have some good options. I would sit Celek and Royal.

let royal prove himself in a couple more games so sit him. i would then sit edwards for the simple fact that the jets r going to be running the ball all day.

If it's me, I'm sitting Royal and Celek. Like it was said earlier on here, let Royal prove he can be consistent before you play him. I like Celek, but I just like MSW and Edwards more, and there's no way you can sit Bowe or Colston.

Thanks for the help on mine...

I would definitely play Colston, Bowe and MSW.
The last three I think are reasonably close. I think I'd sit Royal and Celek and play Edwards.

Thanks for your help.

Bowe is consistent, but has a terrible matchup (Was is 3rd against the pass).
Oakland is 15th against the pass, and yeah, Celek is probably the 4th option behind those two you mentioned and Westbrook.
The giants are #1 against the pass, and they're freaking all over the ball, so Colston is a tough play.
Edwards has tough matchup (Bills are 6th in pass D), but he's at home and coming off big game.
Royal hasn't done much, even with a favorable matchup
Sims Walker has a great matchup, so start him with confidence.

Guess i'm going with Sims Walker, Edwards, Colston (hard to sit him in that offense), and Bowe. I just don't trust Royal right now, and Celek is a great option if Kolb is starting, but with Donovan, I'm not too sure...

Good luck.

You gotta start Colston & Bowe for sure. Then Sims-Walker's match-up is too good to pass up especially coming back this week after missing last game & with Cotchery out I would start Edwards against Buffalo. I would sit Royal & Celek. One good game for Royal doesnt get him in the lineup just yet. I think the Eagles should have this game in hand fairly early and then put it in cruise control running the ball eating the clock.

i guess i'll go with the majority here.

braylon looked great last week, sims-walker has to prove he's not a total screwup, bowe is #1 for cassel and colston because he's awesome.
