Week 6 Questions -- Looking for input from the BRAINS!

Postby bodean » Sat Oct 17, 2009 8:53 pm

I'm at a deliema with my WR/RB for this week.

Current starting lineup is as follows

QB Brees
WR Sidney Rice
WR Holmes
RB Slaton
RB Parker
W/R/T Knox
W/R/T Royal
K Gostkowski
Def Carolina

Bench:
Percy Harvin (might not play, injured)
Marques Colston (tough D with NYG, Brees has a lot of targets cutting down on his value)?
Jamal Lewis (Doubt he will have a good game against Pit D)
Witten (Bye)
Mike Bell (Coming back from injury, might have a HUGE game seeing the other 2 RB's are hurt and have been fumbling the ball)

Any suggestions, or is this a solid starting lineup? Thanks in advance. Yahoo league, 2-3, not a PPR league.

You don't like Mike Bell's chances tomorrow against the NYG?

Thanks for helping with mine.

I don't see Mike Bell getting much action, Thomas has been doing really well ever since he returned, and his injury doesn't sound really serious. Lewis isn't going to be spectacular, but he could punch in a TD and get enough yards to where he doesn't kill you. At least we know he's going to get carries, unlike Bell.

Last I heard Thomas wasn't 100% and that Bell may have to carry the majority of the rushing yards. Thanks for the input.

I think you got it. But I would at least give a second thought to exchanging Colston for Knox or Royal unless your league counts return yards. Colston is a stud, never doubt your studs. And do not give a second thought to Mike Bell, Stephania Bell from ESPN says Pierre Thomas' injury report is New Englandish, using the early season injury to add a bit of a smoke screen.

20 yards per point we get for return yards.

Put in Knox instead of Colston. Knox is rested, healthy and may bust a long one, both reception and return. Thanks for your help on mine.
