We start 1 RB, 1 WR and 3 Flex players and it is a NON-PPR league.
Here's my starters as of now:
RB - Peterson (MIN) v BAL
WR - Fitzgerald @ SEA
Flex1 - Forte @ ATL
Flex2 - Pierre Thomas v NYG
Flex3 - Brandon Marshall @ SD
I also have Wes Welker v TEN, DeSean Jackson @ OAK and Sproles v DEN
Before anyone asks, this is a keeper league and I kept Peterson and Forte from last year.
Obviously Peterson and Fitzy are no brainers
Forte has a good matchup against a shaky ATL run D although if ATL gets ahead early, he will be limited.
Thomas has a crowded backfield but has come on strong in the last 2 games and NYG has an average run D. I am concerned about his injuries. NO shouldn't be playing from behind so I think Thomas will stay relevant the whole game, assuming he plays.
Marshall is on fire right now and this game could be a shootout so I pretty much have to start him, right?
Welker has a lot of potential this week although the weather is a concern.
Jackson is up against a horrible OAK team but it could be the Westbrook show this weekend and Jackson will face one of the better cover men in football.
Sproles is always a sneaky play but could just as easily put up a goose egg.
So, any reason to plug in Welker, Jackson or Sproles into my lineup? If so, who should I bump?
