14-team Yahoo H2H. Pretty standard scoring. We start: QB, 3 WRs, 2 RBs, TE, K, DEF.
My team is scoring lots of points (2nd in the league, trailing #1 by only 8 points), but bad-luck has me in a 2-3 hole. My WRs have been carrying me, and my WR5 is better than most teams WR3. But finding a good RB2 has been a struggle. There's another team that seems open to trading - he has good RB depth (for a 14-teamer), but his WR scoring has been killing him. Maybe there's something I can swing?
My team:
QB: Big Ben, Favre
WR: Wayne, Ochocinco, Bowe, S Smith (NYG), Burleson
RB: Forte, Larry Johnson (yuck!), Leon Washington, Donald Brown
TE: Marcedes Lewis
K: Crosby
DEF: Redskins, Colts (picked them up early for next week - it's uber-competitive for WW defenses)
His team:
QB: Rodgers, Collins
RB: Jacobs, Portis, Stewart, Ricky Williams, Buckhalter
WR: Berrian, Bryant, Nate Washington, Chambers, Heyward-Bey
TE: Donald Lee
K: Longwell
DEF: Steelers
I'm only interested in Jacobs or Portis - like I said, I want a dependable RB2. The other guy is a good manager that I've played with before. So I want to start off with a reasonable offer (not a low-ball). I think Wayne for either straight-up is too much. What about Ocho straight-up for either? Or maybe one of my other WRs (Smith, Bowe, Burleson) with a non-Forte RB of his choice for Jacobs or Portis (with him dropping someone like Heyward-Bey)? Maybe something else? Would you particularly favor Jacobs or Portis?
Thanks for any insight! Leave a link and I'll answer yours.
