My Bowe for His Jacobs? WHIR!!!

Postby Wags » Mon Oct 19, 2009 4:50 pm

I'm looking to improve my runningback corps and am thinking of trading off Bowe. He's been averaging 10 a week and think he can get a pretty descent back.

Would I be giving too much just to get Jacobs? He's struggle, but could easily turn it on the rest of the season. If you don't like Jacobs, what's another back you'd recommend going after?

Leave a link and I'll help you out!

I agree with you trying to upgrade your RB's, but I would go shoot an offer at your Steven Jackson owner. Im a diehard Rams fan, and he's going to have that HUGE week soon, everything is going to click one of these weeks. He is already ultra consistent, being top 5 in rushing, and getting a lot of the checkdown routes. His playoff schedule is a cakewalk too, he never gets you in the fantasy playoffs, but he wins owners titles. You might have to spice up the deal a bit, but take a look at Jackson. The owner might be frustrated with the 0 TD's so far. But otherwise, Jacobs is a good option, he'll turn it around soon enough and is still at worse, a Top 15 back.

Hope that helps!

Help with mine?

i have jacobs and i don't think i would take the straight up trade for bowe at this point. i still think he is going to turn it around this year (fingers crossed). of course this totally depends on his specific roster and how badly he needs a WR and scoring system...but the guy probably got jacobs in the first round of the draft and although he has been a disappointment thus far, he still has potential rest of the season. it will be tough for him to swallow taking bowe alone. just my two cents.
