A guy in my league is desperate for a qb. He has Hassleback and Collins but is pretty stacked at wr. He has offered me Jennings, Kevin Walter, and Cadillac for my Aaron Rodgers and Joseph Addai. That would leave me with Orton as my starting QB but pretty well off everywhere else. Here's my team and now. 12 team non ppr league. Star 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF

although the face value of the trade is good for you, if you look at your team, and what you would be left with, i'd say no. you really want to have orton as your only QB? who else is a QB FA? your WRs look fine as it is and you will be way overloaded with WRs if you do the trade and for what? you lose your stud QB and become completely lacking in at a major position in your lineup.

I would not do this deal. Jennings has not produced as expected (mainly to the GB O-line). I'm not sure Caddy will last the season and Walter has had 1 productive week. See if he will take Orton instead and drop Walter.
One other thing to think about. Orton has a bye in week 7 so you would have to make another deal or pick one up
As far as free agents go pretty much Chad Henne and Josh Johnson are about the only 2 worth even noting. However Warner, and Favre owners are both shopping them. Both owners want DJax from me. Carson Palmer is also on the trading block and can probably had for less, perhaps Mendenhall. The reason I'm considering this though is because I really think Orton is coming into his own. Not saying he is going to be a stud nut I could see some solid 200 plus 2 td games from him. Here's some possibilities for my lineup
