Carlson's Bye week

Postby utility-hook » Tue Oct 20, 2009 9:58 am

Do I just drop Carlson for another TE or drop someone else? Im thinking Finley(GB) @ Clev. here are other choices. I was tempted to drop Steve Smith(Car) but with Boldin injured & MSW on a bye I might need him this week.

Shiancoe @ Pitt--Can he find the endzone again against the Steelers
Finley @ Clev--Seems to be getting more looks
Zach Miller vs NYJ
Ben Watson @ TB
Boss vs Arz

Roster
QB Roethlisberger, Cutler (I would drop a QB but I'll need Cutler next week for Steelers bye week)
RB Peterson, Kevin Smith, P. Thomas, Maroney
WR Boldin, Ocho Cinco, Smith(Car), Sims-Walker
TE Carlson
K Brown

I'm not a fan of Carlson like I once was, you take out the week1, 2 TD game and hes brought nothing to the table. I actually just dropped him for Zack Miller going forward. I also like Finley too, I just dont like that GB runs double TE sets so its 50/50 that he will get a TE pass

Just switch Carlson with Finley in your shoes.

No big loss.

Drop Carlson and get either Finley or Shiancoe. I doubt anyone will pick up Carlson since he's not playing this week so you could get him back if you wanted him.

i agree you could probably drop him and get him back next week...i'd go with Shiancoe....i have Carlson also and i'm worried they're going to continue using him more as a blocker than a TE...i'd be tempted to just stick with Shiancoe.
