1-5 Team. On Life Support. Trade for Romo? WHIR

Postby DukeVBall » Tue Oct 20, 2009 5:53 pm

I don't think have a bad team, I'm just a bad coach and put in all the wrong players, I guess. I'm nearing the end of my fantasy season. If I don't get something going soon, I'm done. The only guy who will trade with me has Romo. Do I trade with him?

12 team non-ppr. I'm thinking of a couple things cause Moss, Welker and Ocho all have week 8 BYEs:

1. Welker and Bush for B. Edwards and T. Romo
2. Welker for Romo
3. Olsen and MoMass/Manningham for Romo (need a WR for week 8 then)
4. Witten and a QB for Romo (doubt he goes for this)
5. Witten and Bush for Romo
6. Anything you can come up with...

QB: Palmer/Hasselbeck
RB1: Forte
RB2: LT
RB/WR: K. Smith or Welker
WR1: R. Moss
WR2: Ocho Cinco
TE: Witten/Olsen
DEF: NYJ

Bench: K. Smith, Welker, Manningham, R. Bush, MoMass, G. Olsen, A. Gonzalez

I bet you thought you had a great team coming out of the draft. Looks like some crappy luck..if Forte played to his potential and LT/Welker weren't injured, I be you would be top 3. I think your team will turn it around, but if you really want to trade I'd do 3 or 4.

help with mine please,

Well, I can tell you that I certainly understand and sympathize with your current situation, as it's more or less the same situation I find myself in right now with my team. I'm at 1-5 as well, with Forte on my team currently under-performing. I think that you have a pretty decent team, but as the poster above me said, if you feel like you need to make a trade (and maybe that's something that's definitely needed, a new player or two here or there could potentially help you out), I'd go with either option #3 or #4.
My Team:
M. Ryan / D. Garrard / A. Smith
M. Forte / J. Stewart / J. Snelling / J. Lewis / L. Johnson
D. Jackson / A. Collie / P. Harvin / J. Maclin / M. Floyd
V. Davis
D. Carpenter

Looks like u need an upgrade a RB more than QB...........I would be looking to deal Forte while he still has some value left. Maybe try for someone like R.Rice (thinking that he's just getting started)

Dude, Palmer is fine at QB... you need an RB badly. Move Witten and LT to someone who needs a TE badly, which in this season is tough... you'll never get Rice (sorry, that comment was retarded... #3 RB, puhhlease). However, you could buy low on Slaton, maybe get some hooks on a disgruntled CJ owner, Deangello, Rashard, etc. I would then go nuts on the wire and look for some prospects.
