Frank Gore for NYG Steve Smith ??

Frank Gore (25.5 AVG over 2 games) and Steve Smith (CAR)(5.2) for my
Johnny Knox (9.0 AVG) and Steve Smith (NYG)(12.5 AVG)

I'm already pretty deep at RB, and might try to acquire a backup receiver if I accepted this trade. We are in a standard scoring league where we start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR. Here are our teams:

I would actually prefer Benson, but he values him more than he does Gore. Do you think he should he accept this trade if it had Benson instead of Gore? If so, then I might counter-offer. What do you all think?

You do that deal. Even if you do not need Gore right now you could package one of your other RBs later. This is a good deal that I would do in a second.

I would also do that deal and then trade up one of your other RBs for a WR from another team. I have people offering me trades left and right for Gore.

Thanks for the help. I have accepted the trade and I'm very happy with it.

Also, now I have a monopoly of Big Name RBs. There are plenty of teams with a RB shortage and I may be able to acquire a good WR like Marcus Colston or Vincent Jackson
