Pick Up Crabtree?????

Does he have better upside than Andre Caldwell?

I have a solid WR corp(we can only carry 5 and start 3, PPR) and I am trying to deal one or maybe 2 for a stud TE, TE & RB or maybe a stud RB in a package.

Steve Smith (NY)
Colston
Sims Walker
D Jackson
Caldwell

So if I make a trade, depending on what I get back, Caldwell or Crabtree may be getting spot starts.

Am I better off sticking with Caldwell?

I would take a gamble on the Rook here and grab Crabs! He will either be a Boom or a Bust and I think he will "BOOM"!!!

Caldwell isn't spectacular and I think Crabs will eventually outproduce him fantasy point wise!

Take Crabs and if he doesn't work out I am sure Caldwell will still be available or someone else better will hit the FA market!

Take a look at the SF schedule coming up... very conducive to a passing attack. I would gamble on Crabtree.

because your WR are so good and so deep, pick up crabtree. as everyone else has said, he's a boom or bust guy, and if he's a bust..he won't effect your team. however, don't expect him to come in and become a stud right away. the niners are a power running team, not a pass happy offense, and that won't change despite crabtree being added. i dont kno how many targets he'll get, but he's going to be starting so catching 3 balls isnt out the realm of possibility but he is still behind vernon and gore as the top 2 targets.
