Should I trade Brees??? WHIR

I would like feedback on trading Drew Brees.

This is our scoring system

1 pt. for 10 yds rushing/receiving
1 pt per reception
1 pt for 20 yds passing
6 pts for all touchdowns
1 pt for XP
FG pts based on distance 20-29=2 pts, 40-49=4 pts, etc.
No negatives of any kind

We start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE and 1K
We are required to maintain a roster of 3QB, 4RB, 4WR, 2TE and 2K at all times


My roster is as follows:

QB- Brees, Schaub, Bulger
RB- Tomlinson, Jacobs, Mendenhall, Maroney
WR- Boldin, Sims-Walker, Manningham, S. Rice
TE- Cooley, Z. Miller(OAK)

My record is 2-4 and having both Schaub and Brees has left me this problem. I need another RB and the only guy who has a possible QB problem has Ray Rice, Jones-Drew and D. Williams. He will not take Schaub and since Schaub has been playing so well I approached him about the trade.

I know its a risk but at 2-4 I need some production from the RB position. I am leaning toward asking for Rice or Jones-Drew, and he seems amicable about making the trade. I would get either Palmer or Hill back for my QB for Schaub's bye week 10, and probally give up Jacobs in return.

I would offer Brees and Maroney for Jones-Drew and Palmer to start. If he doesn't like that deal, swap Maroney with Jacobs. I would not accept the deal if he won't include Palmer. Schaub is an injury risk and you want decent insurance if he goes down.

If you're only going to try to trade to this guy, I'd try this. But, personally, I would look around and see if someone could use a slight upgrade at QB first.
