Which QB makes you want to vomit the least???

Postby cloudwasher » Wed Oct 21, 2009 2:23 pm

Ok so Im in a league where I have to start 2 QBs. Currently 6-0, want to keep that ball rolling. Hasselbeck is on bye so Ive got some tough decisions as far as who to start at QB2. Here are my options from my bench/waiver wire:

Josh Johnson (vs. NE)
Derek Anderson (vs. GB)
Jake Delhomme (vs. BUF)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (@ CAR)
JaMarcus Russell (vs. NYJ)
Julian Edelmann (@TB) (I know he isnt technically a QB but I could still throw him in that spot if need be. Non-PPR league though.)
Todd Collins (vs. PHI) (assuming he starts)

Any suggestions? Im leaning towards either Edelmann, Johnson, or Fitzpatrick.

I'd go with Josh Johnson especially if NE takes a huge lead early on, TB will be forced to throw.

Delhomme for sure. The Bills are really banged up. I really don't like JJ and DA, and the others aren't really even options. There is no way in hell I would ever even consider Jamarcus Awful.

Jake Daylight Come! No doubt. He, unlike the others(well maybe Anderson), has proved he can put up big numbers. JaMarcus Russell should not even be in fantasy league databases as an option to play.

Those aren't very good options. I think Delhomme is the best of the worst. Hopefully he can throw a bomb to Steve Smith

Jake is the safer bet, but I'd roll the dice and go with Johnson... He will be down against NE and will have to throw to come back! Garbage yardage could be a fantasy players best friend! Carolina will be up and go back to a run heavy team against a crappy run stopping def in the bills. All that said, with CAR going to be running the ball, and BUF focusing on stoppping that run, that could leave the avenue open for some long bomb big plays for delhomme and smith combo... In fact, forget what i said about Johnson, go Delhomme all the way!!!
