Week 7 Lineup Help!!! WHIR!!!

Postby makimaki » Wed Oct 21, 2009 3:29 pm

Hey guys, got some bye issues this week. I've got Chris Johnson and Ray Rice on bye along with Royal and the Broncos Def. I'm being forced to play Washington and Fargas as my top 2 rb's with Crabtree at flex. I'm thinking about not playing a kicker this week. I could drop Carney and pick up the Bills def and hold onto Denver for after the bye week seeing as how they're the top def. In my league def scores pretty decent with Denver scoring about 25 points last week.

The other option of course is to just drop Denver and pick up the Bills for the week and take my chances on getting Denver back next week. My team is currently sitting at 4-2.

If you need any more info all settings are below in my sig. Thanks in advance!!!!

Thanks for the help. With the points that Denver's D is putting up in your league, you can't drop them and expect to get them back. I'd keep Denver, and if that means you have to drop a kicker, so be it! Just my 2 cents worth...thanks again and good luck with it!! ;-D

12 teams, I'm 9th on the waiver order. It's a really competitive league where everyone has a shot and everyone is all over the waiver wire.

I wouldnt bother taking a chance and leaving someone out the lineup to keep a defense for the next week. Even if you cant get the broncos back im sure you can play matchups with other defenses the rest of the way

Don't play without a kicker.

If there are a few decent QBs on the free agent market, I'd drop Palmer, as you'll probably start Ryan all year. You probably have a better chance of getting Palmer back over the Broncos D as well.

If your free agent QBs are few and far between, then I'd probably drop Broncos, but I would rather drop Palmer considering the Broncos D could be useful to you all year, where Palmer might not ever see your starting lineup the rest of the way.

Hope this helps!

I'd honestly drop Royal and pick up your kicker. Yes he returned 2 TDs last week but he didnt make a catch. You cant wait and sit around for a guy to score TDs off of kickoffs and punt returns. or u can go the qb route like the guy above said. GL!
