well here goes, i originally drafted both penny and s moss, then dumped em both upon preseason injury, got penny back when someone else dropped him right after the eagles game(??!!??)
and moss has been on my team officially 3 times now. i decided to pick up moss for 3rd time when he got promoted over conway. both guys played big roles in my last 2 weeks, and had i started penny 3 weeks ago against the g-men i woulda won. both are currently penciled in on monday!
Rudi Johnson....I got good performances in weeks 8 and 10 outta him, and he padded my bench stats in week 9. i recently traded him away for coles, cause i needed some serious wr help....thanks rudi, now go back to the bench.
james jackson.....dood just repeat that performance 2 more weeks, and you may become the starter there after willie green smoke comes back from suspension. after jackson's game last week, the owner that had him figured he was back to the bench and dumped him, luckily for me, the nfl put the screws to green, and a w/w priority claim later, and i found a temperary #3.
Lamar Gordon..this cat gave me a couple somewhat decent games before injury, as he filled in nice as a #3....now that he's healthy again, i just picked him up....now maybe faulk will go down again....."hey honey can you go get my voo-doo doll......yes the one that says marshall faulk....now where are your sewing needles?"
Andra Davis gave me a few decent tackles amounts for a few weeks...that guy is hit or miss.
Pennington Hasselbeck
Portis Mcallister J Jackson Dillon Betts Zeroue Morris
S Moss Coles Burress D Jackson K Robinson Chambers
Kliensasser Shockey
Kasay Chad Brown Keith Bulluck Scott Fujita
dood, thats a w/w team you could win with....reminds me of my rookie year last season, as all 20 drafted players were either traded, or dumped by week 12 or so.......i finished 8-9 with basically a 75% waiver wire team.
Chad Pennington, Santana Moss, Domanick Davis, John Kasey, Gary Anderson, and the 49ers defense all have been nice additions to one of my two teams.
Picking up Kelly Holcomb to start over Hasselbeck this week in my other league (due to the weather forecast in Seattle) was just too good to be true.
Although I don't have him, Rudi Johnson has been a nice bonus to many owners these past few weeks. He looks like the real deal.
Two players to keep an eye on are RBs Antowain Smith and Thomas Jones. Both have some great matchups in the coming weeks if you need a better option at that position. Obviously monitor the TB situation, but A. Smith looks like he could really make some noise in a few games.
This guy in my league has been so decimated by injuries and so he had a very high waiver priority most of the year. He got almost every player that has amounted to something that was on the WW. the only guy he didn't get was DDavis. He is now 6-5.
