Parker didn't look quite back yet and Mendenhall is getting the touches there. Fargas is playing a decent Jets D although they haven't shown it recently and Jamal Lewis is on the Browns.
I think I'd go with Lewis on the premise that GB has been underwhelming to say the least and he's a first option. Fargas and Michael Bush split time there and I don't know how much Willie Parker is going to play and Minnesota has a very good D. I'd suggest a waiver pickup!
Aww man that's an ugly situation! And i can't believe i'm going to say this but go with Fargas. Parker is inj., not the preimer back anymore, and facing minny. Lewis is also an old crappy back, and with GB going to be ahead, lewis wont get many chances to run the ball. Fargas is also crappy, but seems to be tough and durable, and good for a good amount of yards at least and possibly a score. The Jets main run stopping defensive line guy is inj. and out for the game (the year too i think?, Jenkins i think is his name) and this games looks to be the closest leading to more of a running game (i.e. more touches hopefully). Oak gets schil.. (whatever his name is) back and look to build on their last game perhaps; whereas sanchez and the jets seem to be struggling right now... like i said, fargas due to the game situation and lack of options
Of the three, Jets are the worst rushing defense. Parker isn't an option IMO, not enough touches with Mendenhall named as the starter and up against MN.
Jamal Lewis and Justin Fargas are essentially equals in my mind. Both are past their prime on terrible offenses. I'd play the matchups in this case and start Fargas against a weaker run defense. Also, with Jenkins out for the year on NYJ...they're run defense looks even more suspect. Also, Robert Gallery appears to be back from injury to help out the Raiders O-line which is always a good thing.
