12 team league. 6pts/TD and 1pt/10yds for RB/WR/TE

QB: Schaub
RB: DWill
RB: Jacobs
WR: Moss (Bye 8)
WR: Ocho (Bye 8)
WR: Moore
TE: Gates
K: Kris Brown
DEF: Pats (Bye 8)
BN: RRice
BN: KSmith
BN: Leon Washington
BN: AGonzalez
BN: Cowboys
BN: Shaun Hill

1) There's been a lot of "on the block" requests for WR so I traded Mario Manningham for Brandon Jacobs. Good trade right? It helps my RB situation for this week and it's a trade that would have been vetoed in the preseason.

2) Now I have some WR bye week problems for week 8 and it looks like I can't count on Anthony Gonzalez to play that week. I'm looking to trade Jacobs or Kevin Smith for a WR. There's a team with terrible RB and he has Welker and Housh. Would it make sense to trade Jacobs or Smith for one of those 2 WR? Welker also has a week 8 bye so I guess Housh would make more sense.

I like the idea of trading Jacobs, but think he is worth more than Housh. I would trade him for Welker but as you mentioned, bye week 8 too.
Any WRs on WW? Schilens? S. Rice? Knox?

you are looking for a bye week replacement- so you should go for housh. i agree jacobs is better than housh try and trade jacobs for housh and 1 other of his fantasy relevant players. u dont want to end up with ur 3 WR on bye in the same week. that's might be a loss unless ur playing a rubbish team.

could i get ur opinion?

1. i think that was a good trade...

2. i wouldnt give up jacobs for tj housh... maybe see if he'll throw in someone else into the trade.. otherwise look for a waiver with a good matchup.......

Bump. It's looking like Jacobs for Housh might be the only option with this particular team. Thoughts?

Jacobs has really been struggling. Its probably worth it since you can start ray rice or kevin smith after this week. Go for it.

I like Jacobs for Welker, not as much for Housh. If I was you I would try to get Welker, even though it would give you a bad bye week situation. There is likely a WW WR you can plug in for the matchup that I would dump Hill for.
