I usually consult the forum for big moves i'm thinking of making, but the was one I had to make a quick decision on last night and want to know if you think it was a good one.
I traded Laurence Marony for NY Jets Defense this week vs. OAK
My WAS starting team for next week:
ROMO
OCHOCINCO
WALTER
TURNER
BARBER
SHIANCO
BRADSHAW
Kris Brown
Dallas D vs. Atlanta
BENCH
CALVIN JOHNSON (Bye)
NICKS
GONZALEZ
FELIX JONES
BELL
MARONEY
COOLEY
The other team had a line up that was similar if not better overall PLUS he had Green Bay Defense Vs. Cleveland. In our league Defenses can kill you (give you negative points) or save you, last week GB had over 25 fantasy points. On the waiver wire, there were hardly ANY good defenses. The best one out there this week was Houston vs. SF. I'm 3-3 and I NEED a win this week against another 3-3 team. I have overall the lowest point total of the league so i've been getting lucky and its bound to run out sooner or later. I was going to start Bradshaw over Maroney anyway and if i didn't make this move the other team would have had a HUGE advantage with such a great defensive matchup.
What do you guys think????
