Intriguing trade.

Postby fantasma62 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 8:54 am

Hi Folks, in a Yahoo, non-keeper, H2H, 12 team league, I have been offered a trade. My team is as follows:

QB: T Romo, K Orton
RB: Matt Forte, Thomas Jones, C Buckhalter
WR: Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Johnny Knox, Danny Amendola, Pierre Garcon, Tedd Ginn Jr, Anthony Gonzalez, Lance Moore
TE: Chris Cooley
K: Lindell
DEF: Baltimore, San Francisco
D: Kirk Morrison, John Beason, EJ Henderson

I give Tony Romo and Matt Forte
I take Brett Favre and Steven Jackson

I think this is really interesting....Should I do this?

How many WR do you start?

I would drop one of those useless WR for a RB.

Eh. you need to improve your RB depth not make a lateral move.

This is a PPC and Return yards heavy league and I start 5 WR, or 3 WR, 1 W/R and 1 W/T. There are no good PPC RB's left on the waiver wire (or any RB's that earn any points), so I can't really drop for another RB.

Thank you very much for your response!

That's a tough one because S Jax is a valuable commodity in a PPR league. Romo is better than Favre but then again Favre has all day in the pocket to make a completion. Forte has been disappointing so far but you have to think he'll pick his game up, no?

I'd lean to not doing this deal just a gut instinct.

It is very intriguing for that same reason.. S Jax catches passes all day long...Forte hasn't done much as he has not gotten together with Cutler yet and I'm not sure if Cutler will. He's a bit thick headed.....

Thanks for your response...

I rejected the offer as I really don't need a QB and would much rather get two RB from him. I asked him to re-do the offer with two good RB's
