Iam in a 12 team yahoo league with standard scoring. Got an offer for my Orton and Mason for his Addai and Jacoby Jones.

So does this trade make sense for my team? I am kinda of tired of wondering whether Portis/Barber are gonna be injured from week to week. I also prob could flip Portis to another team for a decent WR. I have already tried to move Orton but all but 1 other team doesn't need him. Any help would be very helpful. And I always WHIR
Mason beats Jones but not by much and you have other options at WR. You are getting a solid RB who will post good numbers with the right match up.
The other team is also upgrading his roster. You will NEVER start Orton. At least I hope not, because that means that Brees came down with H1N1 and he is my QB. But, I might still start Brees. Get what you can for Orton.

Yes, this is definitely a good deal for you. Get what you can for Orton since he's behind Brees for you and getting another productive RB is a good move.
I don't see it as a win-win for both sides though. McNabb is an inconsistent QB and had a bad game against Oakland but more often than not, he will be better than Orton so I don't like it from the other team's perspective. It seems like he's panicking due to the Oakland game but that always happens a couple times a year with McNabb. He'll be good enough in other games though that he will be better than Orton for the year.
Agree with both of the above. It's a sensible trade for you. Don't expect miracles, though - but I'd take the deal. It's a nice sell-high on Orton, who you won't be using anyway.
I have to assume this is a 1QB league, at which point Orton is now worthless to you. I am in the same boat trying to trade off Orton since he doesnt start for me anymore. Good luck. Help with mine please
Take the trade. Addai has been playing well and any QB2 behind Brees, especially Orton, doesn't hold much value. I like the idea of shopping Portis for a WR bump.
Take Addai. He is going to continue to play the featured back role. Orton has some value but you won't ever use him since Breeze already had his bye week. do the deal!
your Qb1 brees is a must start all season..you will never say to yourself..*id rather start orton this week* especially after what brees did to the no 1 defense..lol
orton is worthless to you like the previous post..your basically trading Mason for addai
