Fitzgerald for Steven Jackson/Housh? WHIR

Postby isobro » Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:46 am

B: Rivers, Romo
RB: LT, Portis, Leon Washington, Chester Taylorl
WR: R. Moss, L. Fitz, Boldin, B. Berrian, Devery Henderson

Non-ppr league, 12 man league.

I was offered Steven Jackson/Housh for Larry Fitzgerald. I am strongly considering this trade, but with Bolden Questionable, that leaves me weak at WR. I've been able to stack my team pretty good through trading.

What do you guys think? WHIR

I have Steven Jackson and would trade him straight up for Fitzgerald because I am strong at RB and weak at WR
You seem to be strong a WR and weak at RB, I think that considering Jackson hasn't found the endzone yet and still has serviceably numbers gives him a good upside and I would probably do the trade since it isnt a PPR league
He still has a bye week though and Fitzgerald has already had his

I like the deal assuming you'll be starting 3 RBs and 2 WRs. SJax has great upside and has put up solid numbers without scoring yet. Housh will be a decent WR2 until Boldin gets healthy and with Boldin healthy, Fitz's value will take a little hit. If you have to start 3 WRs, 2 RBs, I like your current team better.

Personally I don't see what you gain by doing this. You are downgrading your WR corp but slightly upgrading RB corp. As far as dafualt01's comments, I disagree. Boldin being healthy is a good thing for Fitz not bad. Thanks for help on mine!

I would stay put with Fitz, or look to package him for a rb in a better situation like MJD ADP or Benson. Maybe package Fitz with Portis or LT.

Thx for helping me with my rb question

I would stay put with Fitz as well. Housh has been inconsistent, and the fact that the Rams are going to be playing from behind often this year is going to hurt SJax in the long-run.
