Keeper: Crabtree for Holmes. WHIR!!

Postby ollie7585 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 1:03 pm

In a keep ten league and I can trade Holmes for Crabtree, plus his 3rd for my 4th round pick. I have good depth at WR with Fitz, Roddy, Carolina Smith, Royal, and Burleson in addition to Holmes.

Other keepable players would be Roeths, Brown, Pierre, Ray Rice, Cooley?, McCoy, and Greene(if he gets bumped up the depth chart next year).

Will Crab live up to the hype or was he largely a product of Tech's system?

As always, thanks for the help!

I think you hang onto Holmes here. He's had some rough outings, but you'd be buying a commodity that's completely unproven at the NFL level.

Agreed. I'd hang onto Holmes also, he has SB MVP on his resume - plus big ben is chucking him the rock! But that draft pick deal is worth looking at ... if you could get a third and only give up say a 6th or 7th round pick i might be more inclined to think about taking the gamble I wouldn't touch the deal as is though

I gotta go with Holmes also. Crabtree is immature and is going to take a while to get up to speed. Holmes is still pretty young and has more on his resume. Pittsburgh is turning into a throwing team, as well.

Thanks for the help with mine.
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!

I stick with Holmes here too. Hines has to slow down sometime, and when he does Holmes will reep all the benefits.

I agree with all of the above. Crabtree may be a total bust, while Holmes is a proven talent. Hines can't play forever.

I would also hold on to Holms here. He is a proven talent, Crabtree is not. Thanks for helping with mine

You definitely sit still here with Holmes IMO.
